Sullivan Street Studio | September 2020 - present

Collaborated with the creative director to launch Sullivan Stories, a quarterly journal series of the upcoming fashion trends that inspire the studio library.

Research and assist in finding common themes, topic areas, and cultural touch points that relate to the trends, and write between three to four journal entries per season.

Connect with the creative director regarding ideation, brainstorming, and best practices, and provide feedback on marketing and social media outreach for potential clients and partners.

The Playbook: What Went Wrong | June 13, 2020

Assistant producer on the Dateline NBC special “The Playbook: What Went Wrong,” a network special focused on the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S., and the missteps taken by the federal government in containing the outbreak.

Assisted producer Sue Simpson for Act 4 of the six-act episode, primarily focusing on research, logging and transcribing news regarding the outbreak from March 11 - March 31. Worked with the production at large for transcription and research, including finding government documents related to pandemic preparedness, watching dozens of video diaries from healthcare workers throughout the U.S., and assessing the daily news cycle for updates.

Toast to 2019 | December 31, 2019

Assistant producer on the NBC News + Dateline NBC special “A Toast to 2019,” a 90-minute special for the network aired on New Year’s Eve.

Assisted and prepped for interviews with celebrities including Tony Hale, Lester Holt, Nikki Glaser, and Craig Melvin, all conducted in New York City.

Newcomers: Gentrification & Its Discontents | November 7, 2019

Worked with Matthew Schuerman on fact-checking two chapters of his novel, focusing on housing history and gentrification in the greater Chicago area

Visited the Dorothy Brown Circuit Court of Cook County as needed to attain documents relating to Alexander Polikoff and the Dorothy Gautreaux lawsuit, the Dantrell Davis killing which led to the CHA Plan for Transformation, and cases on sources who lived in CHA housing

Spoke with local experts on the subject matter for clarification, including Samira Nazem of the Chicago Bar Foundation

Pangea has taken thousands to eviction court. The story of an apartment empire | May 16, 2019

Member of a three-person team led by Ms. Dukmasova to investigate high eviction rates in Chicago.

Visited and reported from the Dorothy Brown Circuit Court in Cook County two to three times per week to ascertain the practices used by the court in the eviction process, and spoke with tenants.

Used LexisNexis and court in-house systems to find information on the eviction trends from 2008 onward, and helped ascertain sources regarding the findings.

Member of a three-person team who helped to launch a new website regarding diversity on campus and in the community. Worked with our staff, students and faculty to ensure that the website showcased diversity across Stanford University and was widely inclusive.

Organized resources, research and spotlights for website visitors, which includes profiles on students and professors, scholarly articles and upcoming events.
